Material description: PLA, Polylactic acid, Polymonic acid is bioplastic produced from corn starch. The properties are similar to the plastic, which are made of oil. Wood is more gentle on nature than ABS. It is a material that can be dissolved in tetrahydrofuren. Long -term exposure to acetone may be etched. PLA is not healthy and is degradable in nature (controlled composting). Compared to ABS, the strength of the material is higher, the material is better printable. Wood can be actively cooling during printing and also does not need a heated pad. The disadvantages of the material are lower temperature resistance, greater abrasiveness to the output nozzle and very often necessary slower printing speed.

The Pla Wood processing temperature is 190 - 220 ° C.

PLA: The material cannot be easily modified as the heat is produced that causes "pulling" fibers from the print. It is therefore advisable to cool the print, for example, to grind it underwater.
