TPE is a thermoplastic elastomer based on polypropylene. The Industrial Fillament offers Flexfill TPE in two stages of hardness , namely a softer filament with the hardness of shore 90A and harder Shore 96A . Both types of Flexfill TPE differ from TPU at first glance. tpe has a matte look and is pleasant to the touch compared to Flexfill TPU that has a more shiny surface.
TPE material from Fillament is safe for contact with skin and food . Of course, it also has official certification for these applications. This makes its use in the area of 3D printing very wide. Its other important advantages include chemical resistance, water resistance, acids, alcohols and principles.
TPE models are washable and dirt-resistant. TPE is a high -quality stable print fiber with a very good adhesion in layers and with a smooth matte surface.
