Is the new Pla Strun series that have a beautifully silky glossy surface . Pla Silk Filament for use in 3D printers is very strong and does not exclude chemical odor when printing. Like classic PLA, it is biodegradable (made of renewable natural resources). Pla material helps to print large parts more easily.
Material description: PLA, Polylactic acid, Polymonic acid is a bioplast made of corn starch. This material has similar properties to the materials that were made of oil. Pla Silk is much more gentle on nature than ABS. It can be dissolved using tetrahydrofurene. Long-term exposed acetone may etch the surface. Filament PLA is harmless and is also degradable in nature-controlled composting. Compared to ABS, the material strength is higher, the material is better printable. The only drawback of this material is lower temperature resistance. PLA can be actively cooled during printing, it does not need a heated pad. The Pla Silk processing temperature is 190 - 210 ° C.
PLA: The material cannot be easily sanded or drilled into holes. This is due to the fact that grinding (third) or drilling produces heat that causes "pulling" fibers from the print. It is therefore advisable to cool the printout (grind and drill underwater, or it is advisable to spray first with a filler used in modeling, and then grind and spray again, so that the model is perfectly smooth for us and finally spray it).
Storage: We recommend securing a dry environment. In poor storage in a humid environment, it absorbs moisture, which manifests itself as bubbles on the surface. Protect from heat.
