Vallejo Game Color je řada akrylových barev na vodní bázi speciálně vybraných a vytvořených pro barvení fantasy figurek a modelů všeho druhu. Při jejich vývoji byl kladen důraz na zvýšenou odolnost nátěru proti opotřebení, jelikož u figurek deskových her, na které jsou tyto barvy často použity, dochází k časté manipulaci. Barvy se nanášejí štětcem a ředí se vodou nebo Thinnerem (70524) a mohou být míchány mezi sebou. Jsou světlostálé a dobře přilnou k mnoha povrchům - např. k pryskyřiím, plastům, kovům atd. Po zaschnutí mají matný vzhled, nezanechávají stopy po tahu štětcem a jsou voděodolné a permanentní. Game Color lze použít i do airbrush pistole po naředění 50% Airbrush Thinnerem (71261 17ml, 71361 60ml, 71161 200ml). Je vhodné je nanášet na předem upravený povrch.

Barvy z řady Extra Opaque jsou velmi krycí, zakryjí vše jednou vrstvou. Barvy z řady Ink jsou transparentní, mohou být nanášeny štětcem i airbrushem bez ředění, používají se k efektům světla a stínu. Barvy z řady Effects se používají k vytvoření efektů krve, kůry, rzi, oxidaci, atd. Barvy z řady Washes jsou velmi tekuté a transparentní akryly, které vytvoří hloubky, detaily stínu a kontrastu. Glaze Medium ředí barvu a prodlužuje dobu schnutí, používá se pro stínování a prolnutí barev a pro práci s pigmenty. S Metallic Medium získají barvy perleťový nebo kovový lesk. Crackle Medium, aplikovaný mezi dvěma vrstvami barvy způsobí, že vrchní nátěr vytvoří trhliny a praskliny. Laky mohou být naneseny štětcem i airbrushem, schnou velmi rychle. Gloss a Satin laky mohou být použity pro vytvoření efektu vlhkosti.

Vallejo Game Color is a range of water-based acrylic paints specially selected and created for coloring fantasy figures and other models of all kinds. During their development, emphasis was placed on the increased wear resistance of the coating. It was done due to the fact, that the board game figures, for which these paints are often used, are used and manipulated with frequently. The paints are applied with a brush and diluted with water or Thinner (70524) and can be mixed with each other. They are light-fast and adhere well to many surfaces - such as resins, plastics, metals, etc. After drying, they have a matt appearance, do not leave traces of brush stroke and are waterproof and permanent. Game Color can also be used in an airbrush gun after dilution with 50% Airbrush Thinner (71261 17ml, 71361 60ml, 71161 200ml). It is suitable to apply them on a pre-treated surface.

The colors from the Extra Opaque range are very opaque, covering everything with one layer. Ink colors are transparent, can be applied by brush or airbrush without dilution, and are used for light and shadow effects. Effects paints are used to create the effects of blood, bark, rust, oxidation, etc. Washes paints are very fluid and transparent acrylics that create depth, shadow and contrast detail. Glaze Medium dilutes the color and prolongs the drying time, it is used for shading and blending of colors and for working with pigments. With Metallic Medium, the colors acquire a pearlescent or metallic luster. Crackle Medium, applied between two coats of paint, causes the topcoat to create cracks and fissures. Varnishes can be applied with a brush or airbrush, they dry very quickly. Gloss and Satin varnishes can be used to create a moisture effect. Painting tools are cleaned with water after using Game Color.
